There are many arts and crafts store all over the island, some selling souvenirs and trinkets, others more focused on traditional artisanal products, including leather goods, embroideries, and lace. Rhodes is also known for its jewellers, potters, and ceramic artists. There are also many boutiques carrying high-end fashion and accessories, in addition to vendors with stands selling sponges, soap, jewels, and all kinds of knickknacks, conveniently placed in areas of heavy foot traffic.
