Agathi Beach

You’ll have to drive 30-35 minutes from Leonardo Kolymbia Resort to Agathi Beach, but you will love it if you appreciate the more secluded and peaceful beaches of Rhodes. It has a superb natural setting, in a natural little cove with emerald waters and golden sands.

The sea bottom here has some interesting rock formations – perfect for snorkelling. Swimming is safe here too.

The beach is organized, with sun loungers and parasols for rent. There are also some cantinas serving food and drinks right on the beach. Showers, restrooms, and changing rooms are available.

Since the village of Haraki is within walking distance from Agathi Beach, you can hike there to see it, or to do some shopping if you want to. Other attractions near the beach include a small chapel and the ruins of the castle of Feraclos, overlooking the road between Agathi and Haraki from a rocky hill. Ascent to the castle is however not recommended because the hill is very steep and the steps to the top may be slippery or in poor condition due to years of neglect.
